Private Lessons & Coaching
Private lessons and coaching are as much abut teaching you as they are about training your dog.
You'll learn how to read your dog's signals, build new skills into your daily routine, and problem-solve confidently if something new comes up, so that you have the lifelong skills to continue training, even beyond our time together.
Lessons move at your pace, with support available between sessions.
Number of lessons in a series affects how much we can cover, from early skills to more complex behavior work. Descriptions below are examples of what each series might include, but each dog is different, and we'll talk through your specific goals during your consultation.
3-lesson series | $400
A focused series and good starting point if your dog is generally manageable but you want walks or home routines to be easier, or you just want them to have a stronger foundation and calmer mindset before bigger issues come up.
5-lesson series | $650
Good for building reliability, like getting skills to hold up outside of the home, reducing overexcitement, or working through mild behavior patterns that need more than a few sessions to shift.
7-lesson series | $875
Allows for more flexibility and time for dogs with bigger behavior patterns to address, or when training needs to generalize across more envronments and situations. Also a good fit for more intensive training goals that need time and repetition to build.
Puppy & rescue fundamentals
We love setting new dogs up for success! Any series can be tailored for new dogs, adjusted for where they are developmentally. Common focus areas include:
Leash manners
Calm home and settle routines
Foundations for recall
Socialization and exposure to new environments, dogs, and people
Prevention of common problem behaviors like jumping, overexcitement, or excessive barking
Additional training offerings
Coached practice sessions, outings, and training walks between or after lessons are available to to work on specific goals - at home or out in public - while tightening up your handling and building real-world reliability.
Lessons are held in person and may take place on-site (in Edmonds), off-site, or in-home as applicable to your training goals.
Jump-Start Training Bootcamp
A board-and-train program built to give your dog a head start or training reset, with an emphasis on foundation skills, calm home behavior, and leash work.
What's included:
7+ nights of structured boarding↗
Daily training: Focused sessions as well as integrated training that happens naturally during everyday routines
Go-home lesson: Learn how to maintain and build on your dog's progress
Great for dog owners who want to:
Make the most out of already planned away time! Address behavior goals and provide additional enrichment while boarding
Establish and build calm, reliable habits at home
Fast-track upcoming training - many dogs go home ready to jump in to more advanced skills during future lessons
$160 / night (minimum 7 nights for first-time trainees)
Additional nights may be added as needed, with or without training. See the boarding page↗ for base rates.
