When your dog boards with me, they stay in a calm, structured environment built around individual care. I work to make sure every dog feels safe and supported - whether they're high-energy, anxious, reactive, or just more comfortable outside of a traditional daycare or kennel setting.
This works especially well for dogs who are actively in training, who thrive on routine, or those who do better with a quieter space.
What a day looks like
A typical day includes:
Multiple daily walks (structured and casual)
Outdoor time to explore, move, and sniff
Mental enrichment through light training
Quiet downtime to relax
If it’s a good fit, I may include structured parallel walks or calm coexisting time with my resident dog. Training expectations you've already established at home are maintained by default, and targeted day training can be added to support new goals or keep skills sharp.
Want something more training-intensive? A Jump Start board-and-train might be of interest.
Overnight boarding | $85 / night
Includes daily walks, enrichment, home-style care, and reinforcement of your dog’s established routines.
Day training add-on | from $30 / hour session
Targeted training sessions during your dog's stay. We can focus on specific skills like leash manners and engagement, separation practice, calm exposure to distractions or triggers.
Note: for dogs who are anxiour, reactive, or struggle to settle, daily training may be recommended to help them feel safe and regulate more easily during their stay..
Training program graduates | $75 / night
Available to dogs who have completed a training series and meet behavior criteria for graduate boarding, such as walking calmly with a loose leash around others and settling on place with minimal guidance.
To be eligible for boarding, dogs must:
Be crate-trained and able to settle calmly alone for short periods or overnight sleep
Be current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella
Be on regular flea & tick prevention
A consultation is required for all new clients. After we meet, I'll send you a detailed intake form to finalize your dog's care plan.
I only take one or two dogs at a time, so please reach out early to discuss availability and fit.
Not social? No problem.
Your dog will not be placed in interactions with people or dogs unless it’s appropriate and beneficial. Dogs are not introduced to each other by default. Any social exposure is controlled, low-pressure, and always discussed with you first.
When helpful, I use passive socialization—calm, non-interactive exposure to other dogs or people—to help build confidence and reduce reactivity over time.
If your dog needs extra support adjusting to boarding, I may recommend a trial night, a private lesson, or short-term training add-ons to help them feel secure.
